How to synchronize Contacts information between Outlook and Google
With DesktopMirror for Outlook and Google, you may synchronize Contacts information between Google
and Outlook with only a few simple clicks.
After the DesktopMirror is started, you may click the tab to switch to "Contacts" sheet, and you will see that all Contacts information from
Outlook and Google are loaded and displayed as shown below:

As you can see that Outlook Contacts are loaded in the left table and Google Contacts are loaded in the right side.
The Contacts records may be marked with different colors:
- Black records: The Contacts are existed in both Palm Desktop and Outlook and they are identical.
- Blue records: The Contacts are existed in both Palm Desktop and Outlook. But they have different fields values. In the synchronization
you may be asked which one should overwrite the other one.
- Green records: The Contacts are only existed in Palm Desktop or Outlook. They will be transfered after the synchronization.
The color of records can be customized in the DesktopMirror Options.
It is very simple to perform the Contacts synchronization. Please simply choose the synchronization mode, which you have three options:
- Outlook to Google: Transfer the selected Contact records from Outlook to Google.
- Google to Outlook: Transfer the selected Contact records from Google to Outlook.
- Synchronize All: Synchronize all Contact records, no matter they are selected or not.
After you choose the synchronization mode, you may simply click the "Start" button to start the synchronization.
And you may click the "Options" button to set the advanced DesktopMirror options. For detail information about the DesktopMirror options,
