Frequent-Asked Questions
What's the difference between the SwitchSync standard version and T3 and Tungsten E version?
Tungsten T3 and Tungsten E are using different Personal Information Management ( PIM ) applications comparing
with other Palm OS devices. The extended fields make them more compatible with Microsoft Outlook. And the Palm
Desktop for Tungsten T3 and Tungsten E provide built-in Outlook conduits to synchornize with Outlook, that means
you don't need additional third party products to do the Outlook synchronization.
SwitchSync for Tungsten T3 and Tungsten E only works with these two kinds of devices, while the standard version
works with others. The standard version depends on the Chapura PocketMirror to sync with Outlook.
Who needs SwitchSync?
SwitchSync is very useful for who are using or are going to use Tungsten T3 or Tungsten E to sync the Palm with
MS Outlook. If you still want to synchronize with Palm desktop or someone else who are using the same PC wants to
synchronize with Palm desktop. SwitchSync should be the best choice!
How can i customize the conduits for different users?

I want to sync my Calendar and Tasks with Outlook, while sync the Contacts and Notes
with Palm Desktop, how can i do that?
It is very simple to do this with SwitchSync. Just check the radio buttons appropriately. But be pacient to wait
for the HotSync Manager to restart.
Do i need to restart the HotSync Manager after I switched the conduits?
